Anyone can say their AI star is popular. Here the numbers are read, sealed and replayable.
An audition is 72 hours on the character's own X account. Castpad finds every post the account makes in the window, reads X every six hours, takes a final read, and seals a verdict that the rules recompute from the sealed reads.
The bar
All four, inside 72 hours:
| AI singer (single + MV) | AI character (clips) | |
|---|---|---|
| Plays on audition posts | 30,000 | 50,000 |
| New followers | 500 | 1,000 |
| Engagement (likes + reposts + replies + quotes ÷ plays) | 3% | 3% |
| Posts in the window | 2 | 5 |
Only posts whose X timestamp falls inside the window count. The timestamp comes from the post id itself, so it cannot be backdated. These numbers are a first guess: no real audition has calibrated them yet, and they will change with a new rules version when one does.
Fraud signals
Any one of these turns a pass into "needs a human":
- Engagement above 25%.
- More than one new follower per 20 plays.
- One six-hour read carrying more than 70% of all plays.
- Followers dropping more than 5% between reads.
- More likes than plays.
In Season 1 a person reviews every pass anyway, and writes the verdict publicly.
After the debut
Releases are tagged single, music video, clip, drama, variety or live. A singer is expected roughly weekly; a character daily. Silent for twice that and the artist goes quiet; quiet for 14 days and other directors may pitch to take over, with fans voting. An artist never dies with one person's interest.
Rules are versioned
Every audition records the rules version it started under (castpad-rules/1 today) and is judged by those rules only.
